This week Year 4 have been celebrating National Poetry Day by sharing our favourite poems which we published for our homework and then read to the class. We also wrote our own poems titled 'Dear Fake Sisters'. These included rhyming couplets and were based on the never-ending chores of Cinderella in the twisted fairy tale 'Zombierella'. 

In History, we have started our enquiry 'What was the impact of the Roman Empire on Britain?' So far, we have learnt about why the Romans wanted to invade Britain and why Boudicca fought against the Romans. It was been great fun putting ourselves into Boudicca's shoes and imaging what it was like to lead a resistance and rally the support of Celtic tribes to fight against the Romans.
