What a fantastic first week Year 2 have had: we may have only been in school for three days, but they have certainly been jam packed! We have been writing about our summer holidays,  using the water colours to create self portraits and taken advantage of the lovely weather with some outside games in the shade. We have also been exploring the book 'In Our Hands' by Lucy Farfort as this has been a whole school focus this week. The book focuses on the importance of working together to ensure that we live on a happy and healthy planet. We thought carefully about the meaning of the book which inspired us to create our own poems. Well done on a great first week Year 2 - you have all been superstars.
