Wow what a week of learning in reception we have had. We have enjoyed seeing some of our pre-school and nursery friends and meeting new friends this week. We have been learning to sit and listen to our teachers, to put our hands up to speak and to stop and listen when we are asked to. We have been working hard to  share resources,  listen to each other whilst having fun exploring all the new toys and resources in our classroom. We have really enjoyed going out to play on the pirate ship and exploring the sand and water in our outside area and learning to use the painting area.  We started our phonics on Tuesday using our scheme called ‘Little Wandle’ and learnt the phonemes s, a, t and p. We cannot wait to continue learning our next set of phonemes next week.

We have had an exciting first week and cannot wait to see what next week brings in reception. Thank you to all the parents and carers for your support this week.
