Wrap around care
We understand that parents and carers may need additional child care support outside of school hours, or that you may wish for your child to do a range of extra-curricular activities outside of the school day but whilst on the school site. We have an excellent external wrap around care provider, Shine, who offer clubs both before and after the school day

Shine After School Club is a leading provider of after school care in the South West. Since being established in 2011, Shine has rapidly expanded by forming successful partnerships with many different schools and currently provides quality wrap around care for thousands of primary school children across the region. Shine has been at Christ Church since September 2014, providing excellent childcare for an ever-growing number of families.
Shine’s innovative activity based provision offers children a unique opportunity to enjoy a wide range of creative and sporting clubs which extend well beyond what is expected of the typical after school club.
Through its impressive team of professional coaching staff, Shine can deliver sports clubs including football, archery, gymnastics, dance and many more. In addition, Shine provides an exciting choice of creative clubs which are always fun and inclusive and include cookery, pottery, junk modelling and LEGO Club.
Shine is Ofsted registered and consequently able to accept childcare vouchers and save customers money.
The website – with its easy to use booking system – makes the experience simple and reliable for parents and carers. To achieve such high standards, Shine only employs exceptional staff and it is their motivation and enthusiasm that underpins everything that is successful about the business.
Breakfast Club: From 7.35am -school starts
- Serving toast & cereal, breakfast club provides a calm start to the school day. This costs £7.
Session 1: From 3.15-4.45pm
- Activities run during this session and cost £8.50
Session 2: From 4.45-5.55pm
- Snack time and a wind down. Children get to play and relax before going home. They will be offered a light snack of fruit and a biscuit. This session costs £7.50
